Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam reported no newCOVID-19 cases on April 28, keeping the total number at 270, according to the National Steering Committee forCOVID-19 Prevention and Control.
The country has gone 12 straight days with nocommunity transmission as at 6:00pm on April 28, the committee said.
A total of 222 patients have recovered while 48are being treated at nine medical facilities, of whom eight have testednegative once, seven negative twice and above and 33 positive.
Of the 48 patients, 38 are being treated atcentrally-run hospitals, eight at provincial ones and two at district medicalcentres.
There are three patients in critical condition andeight relapse cases that are under further monitoring at medical facilities.
As many as 45,466 are under quarantine or healthmonitoring, of whom 323 stay at hospitals, 8,459 atother facilities and 36,684 at home and accommodations.
