Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnam reported no new COVID-19 cases on May 23 evening,marking it 37 straight days without new infections in the community.

Of the total 324 confirmed cases, 184 are imported ones who were quarantined upontheir arrival in the country.

A total of 267 cases have recovered, accounting for 82 percent of theaccumulative caseload, while the 57 active cases are being treated at differentmedical facilities across the country.

Six have tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 once, while three others have testednegative for the virus at least twice.

More than 14,700 people are under quarantine at hospitals, medical stations andat home./.

Hanoi tightens control, prevention of monkeypox
