“Vietnam Pictorial” brings country closer to Latin America

Warm words were offered by GeneralSecretary of the Mexican Labour Party (PT) Alberto Anaya Gutierrezwhile receiving a delegation from the Vietnam Pictorial, led byEditor-in-chief Nguyen Thang, in Mexico City during their visitfrom October 3-9.

Gutierrez, who is also Chairman ofthe Mexico-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Group (VMPFG), said thevisit would help foster and expand cooperative ties between the VNA andthe PT.

His party will continue assisting the agencyin printing and issuing the publication in Mexico and othercountries in the region, he pledged.

Briefing thehost on the development process of the Vietnam Pictorial, the Vietnameseeditor emphasised that his working visit was a good opportunity tobring knowledge of Mexico closer to the paper’s Vietnamese readers.

During the week-long visit, the Vietnamesedelegation also had a working session with managerial officials of PT’sprinting factory, and visited some historical monuments in the capital.-VNA
