Vietnam offers duty free shopping

International travelers will soon be able to enjoy duty free shopping at international airports in Vietnam after completing admission procedures.

This follows Decision No 44/QD-TTg, which amendsand supplements several articles on the regulations related to duty-freegoods trading issued in February 2009.

Travelers must present their passports and boarding pass to make purchases.

The decision also revises regulations related to currencies, shoplocations, importing cigarettes for sale and goods quantities.

The new regulations take effect from September 15.-VNA
