Hanoi (VNA) – Senior LieutenantGeneral Nguyen Phuong Nam, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the VietnamPeople's Army (VPA), received Major General Soe Win, head of the Myanmar’s armymedical department, in Hanoi on September 6.
Soe Win informed his host about the outcomes ofhis working sessions with the Vietnamese army medical department and militaryhospitals.
The meetings allow the two countries to shareexperience and boost cooperation in training.
For his part, Nam highlighted the soundfriendship between Vietnam and Myanmar in all fields, including defence.
He noted bilateral defence cooperation is one ofthe key pillars in Vietnam-Myanmar ties.
Vietnam’s Ministry of National Defence and theVPA General Staff will create the best conditions for the two countries’ militarymedical forces to enhance cooperation, he affirmed.-VNA
