Vietnam military delegation visits Cuba

Hanoi (VNA) – A high-ranking military delegation led by Defence MinisterGeneral Ngo Xuan Lich, is on an official friendly visit to Cuba from June 4-7.

The visit is made at the invitation of Sen. Lieut. Gen. Leopoldo Cintra Frias, Ministerof the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces (MINFAR).

The trip aims to enhance the ties of the two countries’ armies, while affirmingthe viewpoint and foreign policy of the Party, State and army of Vietnam in therelations with Cuba. It also contributes to strengthening special solidaritybetween the two countries and armies.

In March this year, Minister Sen. Lieut. Gen Leopoldo Cintra Frias led adelegation from the MINFAR to visit Vietnam at the invitation of DefenceMinister General Ngo Xuan Lich.-VNA
