Hanoi (VNA) – A delegation fromthe Ministry of National Defence led by Minister Ngo Xuan Lich on December 4left Hanoi for a four-day official visit to India.

The visit is made at the invitation of IndianDefence Minister Manohar Parrikar.

It aims to exchange views on securityissues of the respective nations, the region and the world.

The two sides also plan to discuss measuresto develop their bilateral defence ties in a more comprehensive and effectivemanner.-VNA
