At the event, co-organised by the Da Nang People’s Committee and theEmbassy of Sweden in Vietnam , experts from Sweden ’s BorasUniversity introduced measures to turn waste into energies andsustainable development solutions for environmental and waste managementproblems.
Three years ago, the Da Nang People’sCommittee launched a project “Building Da Nang - an environmental city”with a target of developing Da Nang into an environmentally friendlycity by 2020.
The project represented the municipalauthorities and people’s strong commitment to addressing environmentalpollution, building green spaces as well as boosting clean productionand energy saving.
Da Nang was the first leg of the “Go Green” Mission 2011 hosted by the Embassy of Sweden.
