The Lao official is on a working visit to Vietnam fromDecember 11-14, at Nghia’s invitation.
Speaking at the event, Nghia stressed that in the context ofcomplicated and unpredictable developments of the regional and internationalsituations, the two Parties and states should cooperate more closely, takeadvantage of opportunities and address challenges to help the two countries growsustainably, for the interests of their peoples, and for peace, stability anddevelopment of the region.
Both officials agreed that more attention should be paid to Partybuilding and personnel works, and to political and ideological educationto prevent the degradation of ideology, morality, lifestyle, as well ascorruption and negative phenomenon.
The two commissions need to step up the exchange and sharing ofexperience, and share information and communications materials on the relationsbetween the two countries in various forms; and strengthen cooperation in organisingtraining courses for the Lao staff.
Within the framework of his working visit, the Lao official isscheduled to pay a courtesy visit to Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong,and attend an awarding ceremony of an online quiz on the history of theVietnam-Laos relations./.
