“The fight against drug trafficking is the three countries’ jointstruggle with each success being shared by all,” Deputy Prime MinisterTruong Vinh Trong, who is also Chairman of Vietnam’s National Committeefor AIDs, Drug and Prostitution Prevention and Control, said whilespeaking at the opening session.
The participants also agreed on the need to further improve theefficiency of coordinated activities, operations, and the exchange ofinformation among drug watchdogs and liaison offices to enhancetripartite cooperation in the fight.
Thanks to intensive exchange of information, last year investigativeagencies from the three countries brought to light many bigtransnational drug trafficking rings./.
