Under the agreement, signed in Hanoion July 8 as part of a six-day visit from July 7 of the LFNC delegationled by Vice Chairman Kenta Kongbounmy, the two sides will fostercoordination in personnel training through the Vietnam-LaosInter-Governmental Cooperation mechanism.
They willalso do more to popularise the Vietnam-Laos special friendship,traditional solidarity and comprehensive partnership.
Symposiums will help seek to enhance the efficiency of religiousmanagement, contributing to ensuring the independence and stability ineach country and the region.
During a workingsession on the day with Deputy Head of the Vietnamese GovernmentCommittee on Religious Affairs Bui Thanh Ha, the two sides reviewedtheir partnership since it was set up in 2002.
Thefirst agreement on religious affairs inked in June 2007 has facilitatedthe delegation exchange and the organisation of training courses forLFNC officials.
Both host and guest also agreed that religious work in both countries has been improved practically.
During their stay in Vietnam until July 12, the Lao delegationwill be received by Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
They are scheduled to meet representatives of the Vietnam FatherlandFront’s Central Committee and visit a number of religious facilities innorthern Bac Ninh and Quang Ninh provinces.-VNA
