Vietnam, Lao Fronts exchange work experience

VFF Vice President and General Secretary Vu Trong Kim considered theLao delegation’s visit as a contribution to developing the specialsolidarity, friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the twoParties, States, peoples and Fronts as well.

LFNCStanding Vice President Tong Yerthor said he hopes the two organisationswill tighten coordination to help nurture the time-honouredrelationship between the two nations.

At themeeting, the two sides discussed the socio-economic situation in Vietnamand Laos, preparations for the formation of the ASEAN EconomicCommunity later this year, and exchange expertise in training personneland reforming operations towards expanding collaboration moving forward.

Earlier, the Lao delegation, which is on a workingvisit to Vietnam through July 18, met with Politburo member and VFFPresident Nguyen Thien Nhan on July 15.-VNA

ASEAN’s goods, culinary culture promoted in Europe

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.

Tien Giang strives to reduce poverty rate to 0.87% this year

Chinese sick sailor on vessel AMIS STAR provided with first aid
