The effective cooperation between the Chinese Ministry of Public Security and the Vietnamese Ministry of Defence in general and between the two countries’ border guards and coast guards in particular has contributed to maintaining security and order at sea and creating a border line of peace, friendship and development.
In upcoming time, the border guards and coast guards of the two countries will continue boosting coordination in fighting types of crimes such as illegal border-crossing, and drug, weapon, and human trafficking as well as experience sharing in participating in the United Nations’ peacekeeping missions.-VNA
