Dung suggested Japan amend legal regulations to createa more favourable work environment for both local residents and foreigners,with their rights to income, insurance and social welfare ensured.
The minister expressed his hope that the two sideswill actively prepare for professional skill and foreign language exams forinterns and employees under Japan's “specified skilled workers” programme.
He called on the Japanese side to offer moreincentives to Vietnamese nurses and caregivers who work in the country underthe Vietnam-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (VJEPA).
For his part, Katsunobu said Japan is working on amendmentsto current legal regulations relating to the programme receiving foreign traineesand workers, during which more attention has been paid to technical transfer andquality personnel training.
Host and guest agreed to regularly exchange experienceduring cooperation between the two ministries, and work together in handling humanresources development issues in the time ahead./.
