Vietnam helps Laos upgrade revolutionary museum

The Vietnamese Government has decided to provide its Laos counterpart non-refundable assistance worth over 14 billion VND (658,000 USD) to upgrade the Kaysone Phomvihane Museum in Vientiane.

A signing ceremony to hand over the master plan of the project to the Lao side was held in Phnom Penh on March 24.

Theproject, which includes 18 items, aims to help synchroniseinfrastructure and facilities in the museum, thereby bettering thepreservation of artefacts here.

The Kaysone PhomvihaneMuseum is ones of Laos ’ leading revolutionary museums, which displaysand stores many documents on the life and political career of latePresident Kaysone Phomvihane - who contributed much to establishing andnurturing the special relations between Vietnam and Laos.

Vietnam ’s Ho Chi Minh City Museum will be an investor of the project.-VNA

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.

Tien Giang strives to reduce poverty rate to 0.87% this year
