During 1969-1975 fiercewartime, Russian medical specialists and officers and soldiers of theVietnam People’s Army successfully moved the remains of the President tofar-flung areas to safety for six times, he said.
Theembalmed President was later laid inside a mausoleum dedicated to him.Since the mausoleum inaugurated in late August 1975, it received over 50million visitors, from both at home and abroad, to pay tribute to thelate leader whose mummified body is always kept at the best state.
Since 2004, the Russian Institute of Biomedical Problems incoordination with the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Management Board havesucceeded in making embalming fluids.
