Under the deal, signed by Inspector General HuynhPhong Tranh and Chairman of Egypt’s Administrative Control Authority(ACA) Mohamed Gamal on April 18 in Cairo, the two sides will also shareprofessional information and documents as well as experience indetecting corruption.
In addition, they will increase theannual exchange of delegations and consult each other about how toconduct communication campaign to raise people’s awareness andengagement in corruption prevention and fight.
The MoU signing followed a working session between the Vietnamese Inspector General and the ACA Chairman.
The same day, Inspector General Tranh had a meeting with Egyptian PrimeMinister Ibrahum Mahlab who lauded collaboration between the VietnamGovernment Inspectorate and ACA. The PM said he hope the two agencieswill continue cooperating in a more comprehensive and regular manner,thus lifting their ties to a new height.
The EgyptianGovernment leader also showed interest in enhancing bilateralcomprehensive partnership as well as sharing experience in areas oftraining, technology, economic research and agriculture for mutualprosperity.
For his part, the Vietnamese Inspector Generalasked PM Mahlab to support the cooperation between Vietnam’s GovernmentInspectorate and the ACA.-VNA
