Vietnam, Cuba boost defence collaboration

Hanoi (VNA) – A delegation from the Ministry of National Defenceled by Deputy Minister Be Xuan Truong paid an official visit to Cuba fromDecember 12-18.

During their stay, the Vietnamese delegation had a working session with Ministerof the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces Leopoldo Cintra during which the twosides agreed to strengthen and consolidate the cooperation between the two armies.

They also reviewed the implementation of signed agreements and discussed measuresto foster bilateral ties.

Both sides consented to focus on collaboration in scientific research and military techniqueserving the respective countries’ national construction and defence./.
