Vietnam condemns terrorist acts in any form, Foreign Ministry’s spokesman Le Hai Binh has said in response to a school attack in the northern Pakistani city of Peshawar that left hundreds of people dead and injured on December 16.

The terrorist attack on civilians and children is barbarian and unacceptable, Binh said on December 17.
Vietnam conveys deep condolences and sympathy to the government andpeople of Pakistan, the families of victims and believes that theinstigators will be punished appropriately soon, he said.

Alsoon December 17, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung cabled a message ofcondolences to his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif.

Thesame day, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh alsoextended his sympathy to advisor to Pakistani Prime Minister andForeign Minister Sartaj Aziz.-VNA
