Vietnam condemns the recent terrorist hostage crisis in Algeria.
Vietnam strongly condemns the recent terrorist hostage crisis inAlgeria, which resulted in severe civilian losses, said ForeignMinistry Spokesperson Luong Thanh Nghi on January 22 in Hanoi.

Making the statement in response to reporters’ questions on Vietnam’s reaction to the incident, Nghi expressed Vietnam’s deepcondolences to the families of the victims, the Government of Algeria,and the countries that lost citizens.

Vietnamsupports the international community’s efforts to prevent terrorism, andholds that the guilty must be punished adequately, he added.-VNA
