DaNang (VNA) – Young officers of the coast guard forces of Vietnamand China joined an exchange programme that opened in the central city of DaNang on December 24.

Atthe programme, second of its kind, young Vietnamese and Chinese coast guard officersexchanged information on activities and reviewed cooperation to strengthenfriendship.

Theyshared experience on political and ideological work, search and rescueactivities, along with law enforcement at the sea.

Theyoung officers visited and presented gifts to children in the SOS Children’sVillage in Da Nang, and joined an event with officials and soldiers of the HighCommand of the Vietnam Coast Guard Region 2.

Thesecond exchange programme runs until December 28. –VNA

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.

Tien Giang strives to reduce poverty rate to 0.87% this year
