Vietnam, Cambodia foster inspection links

The inspection sectors of Vietnam and Cambodia have agreed to continue expanding their inspection work cooperation in the coming time, focusing on the exchange of delegations and personnel training.

Phnom Penh (VNA) – The inspection sectorsof Vietnam and Cambodia have agreed to continue expanding their inspection workcooperation in the coming time, focusing on the exchange of delegations andpersonnel training.

The two sides signed a memorandum of understandingon enhancing links after a talk between Vietnamese Inspector General Phan Van Sau and Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Ministerof the Ministry of PublicRelations with the National Assembly, Senate and Inspection of Cambodia Men SomOn in Phnom Penh on November 29.

Men Som On appreciated the VietnameseGovernment Inspectorate’s support for and cooperation with the Cambodianinspection agency, especially in training.

While informing each other oftheir prominent political situation and socio-economic developments in recenttime, the officials expressed their joy at the fruitful relationship between thetwo countries, which has been strengthened across fields, including inspection.

Linksbetween the Vietnamese and Cambodian inspection agencies recorded positiveresults, contributing to promoting the bilateral relations, they said.

They shared experience in addressing complaintsand denunciations,and fighting corruption, while discussingfuture cooperation orientations between the two agencies.

Vietnam pledgedto send experts to help Cambodia improve its inspection sector.

Laterthe same day, Inspector General Phan Van Sauand the Vietnamese delegation paid a courtesy visit to Cambodian Prime MinisterSamdech Hun Sen.-VNA
