Speaking at the event, HUFO Chairman LeHung Quoc highlighted the traditional relations between the two nations,adding that Vietnamese people always remember and appreciate valuablesupport from the Bulgarian Government in the past struggle forliberation and the current nation-building efforts.
Bulgaria has trained thousands of officials, experts, and skilled workers for Vietnam, he recalled.
Oleg Marinov, Head of the Bulgaria Commercial and Economic Office inHCM City, said despite geographical distance, the two nations havenurtured their traditional friendship as well as efficient cooperationover the past 65 years.
He underscored that the Vietnamesepeople, who studied and worked in Bulgaria, are playing a crucial rolein fostering the bilateral relations.
Over the past few years,the two countries have exchanged many high-ranking delegations andsigned numerous cooperation agreements, laying down a foundation fortheir long lasting, sustainable connections.
