Paris (VNA) – The Vietnamese Embassy in France participated in the “ASEAN Family’s day” in Paris hosted by the Embassy of the Philippines on September 24.
Vietnam’s Ambassador to France Nguyen Ngoc Son and Head of the Vietnam Delegation to UNESCO Ambassador Le Hong Phan attended the event with officials from Vietnam’s representative agencies in France and their families.
Ambassador Son said that ASEAN’s representative agencies in Paris are dynamic, holding monthly meetings on ASEAN issues and other regular activities such as the ASEAN Family’s day.
He added that the day is a traditional annual festival of representative missions of ASEAN member countries in France, helping deepen the friendship between ASEAN countries.
Along with a bowling contest, other group activities and cultural performances were held. Traditional dishes of ASEAN countries were also served by the Embassies.-VNA
