Vietnam attends ASEAN Family Day in New York

This year’s event was organised in Alley Pond Park nearNew York City under the chairmanship of Brunei Permanent Missionto the United Nations (UN).

In his opening speech,Brunei Permanent Representative to the UN Dato Abdul Ghafar Ismail saidthe event will help strengthen solidarity and mutual understanding amongASEAN missions to the UN.

Vietnam ’s DeputyPermanent Representative to the UN Pham Vinh Quang joined otherVietnamese officers based in New York to introduce the country’sculture, folk games and traditional dishes to international friends.

ASEAN groups Brunei , Cambodia , Indonesia , Laos ,Malaysia , Myanmar , the Philippines , Singapore , Thailandand Vietnam .

ASEAN’s goods, culinary culture promoted in Europe

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.

Tien Giang strives to reduce poverty rate to 0.87% this year
