Speaking at the meeting,Deputy PM Phuc expressed his belief that this visit will contribute tostrengthening mutual understanding and friendship between Aichiprefecture and Vietnam , as well as developing the two countries’strategic partnership.
Vietnam wants to furtherintensify cooperation with Japan, especially in human resources,infrastructure and agriculture, Phuc stressed, adding that theGovernment will create every possible condition for Japanese businessesto invest in Vietnam, and is willing to build a more attractiveinvestment environment in Vietnam.
HideakiOhmura said that his working visit aims to strengthen exchanges inaviation. He said he hopes that the number of flights linking Aichi withHanoi and Ho Chi Minh City will be increased in the comingtime.
To celebrate the 40th anniversary ofbilateral diplomatic ties, the Aichi Governor said that his prefecturewill coordinate with the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan to hold the“Hello Vietnam” programme scheduled for September 20-23.
The programme will include a series of activities to promoteinvestment and popularise Vietnam’s image, contributing tointensifying friendship exchanges between the two countries’ people.-VNA
