Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam Airlinesand Vingroup have signed a cooperation agreement to develop and providecombined aviation and tourism products for all of their air routes and tourismaccommodation facilities.
The national flag carrier said the partnershipaims to enhance the competitiveness of their services and bring the mostbenefit to customers.
Under the deal, the two sides will invest in anddevelop regular and charter flights from domestic and internationaldestinations to tourism and entertainment facilities of Vinpearl – Vingroup’stourism brand.
In these two-for-one products, customers willbuy one package that contains both aviation and tourism services, helping them tosave time and costs, the carrier said, noting that it will be flexible forcustomers to select Vietnam Airlines flights and Vinpearl accommodationfacilities.
Vietnam Airlines added that the two firms willalso step up cooperation in customer service programmes to provide top productsand services that match the demand from customers.
General Director of Vietnam Airlines Duong TriThanh said the comprehensive cooperation agreement between the two majorbusinesses of Vietnam will inspire the connection of Vietnamese trademarks.This collaboration will not only help Vietnam Airlines develop all-in aviationand tourism products and promote its competitiveness on the market, but alsogenerate practical benefits for customers of both firms.
Echoing this view, Vice Chairman and GeneralDirector of Vingroup Nguyen Viet Quang said the deal has opened up a promisingbusiness field for his group and directly supported Vingroup in creatingcombined aviation and tourism services for the benefit of customers. –VNA
