The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has put into use Airbus 350-900 XWB aircraft on international flights from September 30 with Paris as the first destination.
Flight VN19 on the plane was scheduled to depart from Hanoi on September 30 and arrive in Paris, France, at 7:00 am on October 1 (Paris time).
Chief Operating Officer – Customers of Airbus John Leahy said he hopes passengers of Vietnam Airlines will enjoy the outstanding convenience of the new-generation Airbus plane.
The utilisation of this cutting-edge Airbus version is expected to consolidate the position of Vietnam Airlines as one of the leading carriers in Asia, he added.
Furthermore, the improvements to services will bring comfortable flying experience for passengers, said Deputy Director of the Vietnam Airlines Trinh Ngoc Thanh.
On the occasion, Vietnam Airlines is presenting special gifts for all passengers on the first six flights using the new Airbus plane model from/to France.
The Airbus 350-900 XWB will also be used for flights between Hanoi and Seoul (the Republic of Korea) as from October 1.-VNA
