Hanoi (VNA) – National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines announced onApril 5 that it will adjust the frequency of its flights from Hanoi/Ho Chi MinhCity to Da Nang after the central city requires a 14-day quarantine period forpassengers from the two major cities amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Accordingly, the carrier will conduct three flights per weekon Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on each route from April 7-15.
It continues operating one flight a day from Hanoi to HCMCity and vice versa.
The carrier’s flight schedule at this time will flexiblyrely on the reality. It commits to supporting passengers on domestic flights inchanging their flights or routes as its current regulations.
Crew members on all of its flights will be equipped withprotective gears. They and passengers will have a body temperature check andmust make health declarations before boarding flights. All planes will be disinfected after landing inHanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.
Vietnam Airlines has suspended international flights untilApril 30./.
