Hanoi (VNA) - National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will reschedule flightsfrom/to Japan on August 9 due to Typhoon Shanshan.

Accordingly,two flights between Da Nang and Japan’s Narita airport on August 9, VN6318 andVN6319, will be cancelled. Passengers of those flights will travel in flightsVN318 and VN319 on the same day.

Thecarrier also delays the start of six flights for the routes between Hanoi/HoChi Minh City/Da Nang and Narita by 6 – 9.5 hours. The affected flights areVN300, VN301, VN310, VN311, VN318 and VN319.

Vietnam Airlines will continue to follow weather conditions and updatepassengers on further flight schedule adjustments.
