Vietinbank signs loan contract with foreign banks

The Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank of Industry and Trade (Vietinbank) signed a 100 million USD syndicated loan agreement arranged by the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (BTMU) on April 16.
The Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank of Industry and Trade(Vietinbank) signed a 100 million USD syndicated loan agreement arrangedby the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (BTMU) on April 16.

The foreign banks participating in this agreement include BNP Paribas and Mega International Commercial Bank.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Vietinbank board member Phung KhacKe said the bank is committed to using the loan for the right purposesand to a rational use of resources to generate the highest return oninvestment.
The loan will be an additional significantsource of foreign currency for Vietinbank to meet businesses' demandsfor production and trade as well as the country's economic development.-VNA
