Vietbuild 2017 kicks off in Hanoi

Hanoi (VNA) – The 2017 Vietbuildinternational exhibition opened in Hanoi on March 15 with the participation of450 domestic and foreign businesses.

New products and services in the field of construction,building materials, real estate, and interior and exterior decoration are beingput on show at 1,700 pavilions.

Deputy Minister of Construction Bui Pham Khanhsaid the ministry has proposed the Government promulgate and implement a numberof policies on the management of building activities.

With the enforcement of the Law on Housing and theLaw on Real Estate Business, the property market has been developing in astable and transparent manner, attracting a huge amount of foreign investment,he said, adding that the rapid urbanisation has pushed the growth of the market.

Chairman of the Vietnam Real Estate AssociationNguyen Tran Nam said the exhibition has become a venue for constructionbusinesses to promote trade and cooperation.

As the first of its kind in Hanoi this year, theevent will run until March 19, including two workshops on non-bakedconstruction materials.

The second Vietbuild Hanoi 2017 is scheduled totake place from May 17-21 with over 1,350 booths and the third one from November10-14 with 1,700 pavilions.-VNA
