Vietbuild 2014 returns to HCM City

The annual Vietbuild international exhibition, a platform to showcase the latest construction materials and technologies, returned to Ho Chi Minh City for the first time this year on June 18.
The annual Vietbuild international exhibition, a platform to showcasethe latest construction materials and technologies, returned to Ho ChiMinh City for the first time this year on June 18.

Thefive-day event features 2,300 pavilions run by 800 exhibitors from 18countries, including Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, the Republic ofKorea and Canada.

In her opening remark, Deputy ConstructionMinister Phan Thi My Linh said the event takes place at a time when theproperty market is recovering, stimulating the demand for constructionmaterials.

There will be a business forum and workshopsintroducing eco-friendly products and technologies in the framework ofthe exhibition, which is hosted by the Construction Ministry’s VietbuildConstruction International Exhibition Organisation Corporation.-VNA
