The Vi Xuyen NationalMartyrs’ Cemetery is home to 1,847 graves of martyrs nationwide who laid downtheir lives to safeguard the country’s northern border.
During her meetingwith leaders of Ha Giang and Vi Xuyen district in particular, Xuan underlinedthat there is a national border gate and various border crossings in Ha Giangprovince. Therefore, it needs to capitalise on the economic potential of theborder areas and bolster trade with its neighbouring Chinese localities.
Of note, with itsadvantages, Ha Giang is also asked to further promote its images and foster infrastructuredevelopment and human resources training for tourism, in an attempt to turntourism into a spearhead economic sector.
The Vice Presidentpresented 100 aid packages to poor families and policy beneficiaries, alongwith 200 gifts to disadvantaged students in Vi Xuyen district.
