VIB received “Leading SME Trade Bank” award

The Vietnam International Bank (VIB) has been awarded with the “Leading SME Trade Bank” title for outstanding achievements during its participation in the Trade Finance Programme (TFP).
The Vietnam International Bank (VIB) has been awarded with the “LeadingSME Trade Bank” title for outstanding achievements during itsparticipation in the Trade Finance Programme (TFP).

The TFP, initiated by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), aims toprovide guarantees and loans to its member banks to supportinternational trade.

They provide financialsupport for import-export enterprises and improve production efficiencyand competitiveness in the market.

The VIB, which joined the TFP in 2009, is one of the ten Vietnamese banks in the programme.

As a leading bank in trade finance for small- and medium-sizedenterprises (SMEs), VIB is the first bank in Vietnam to win this award.-VNA

Vietnam’s lobster export to the Chinese market in January-September rose 33 folds year-on-year on the back of lower prices and stronger trade ties between the two nations, the South China Morning Post said on October 22.
