Kuala Lumpur (VNA) – A tanker vessel sank in Malaysia’s territorial waters, 4.6nautical miles off Pengerang in Johor state on June 15.
MalaysiaMaritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) deputy director-general Mohd Taha Ibrahimsaid they were alerted by the Singaporean Police Coast Guard about the EquatorialGuinea-registered vessel, MT Putri Sea, catching fire after an explosion in itsengine room.
The vessel sankas MMEA members arrived at the accident. The MMEA is working to locate themissing crewmembers, who are six Indonesians, aged 28-39.-VNA
