VASCO launches Vinh-Da Nang air route

The Vietnam Air Services Company (VASCO), a member of the Vietnam Airlines Corporation, has announced that it officially launched the first flight service linking Vinh city, in the central province of Nghe An, with the central city of Da Nang on February 15.

Hanoi (VNA) – TheVietnam Air Services Company (VASCO), a member of the Vietnam AirlinesCorporation, has announced that it officially launched the first flight servicelinking Vinh city, in the central province of Nghe An, with the central city ofDa Nang on February 15.

The aircraft ATR-72 carrying 68passengers took off from Vinh airport at 8:20am and landed at Da Nanginternational airport at 9:40am the same day.

At the launch ceremony, a leader ofNghe An province handed over a certificate of merit to VASCO and presentedflowers to crew members and the first passengers.

Passengers on the flight alsoreceived souvenirs at check-in counters and lucky money from VASCO for the LunarNew Year.

VASCO will run seven Vinh-Da Nangflights per week, which are expected to propel economic, tourism, and tradeties between Vinh, Thanh Hoa and Da Nang, Hue, and Quang Nam –VNA
