The United States International Trade Commission (USITC) has decided tokeep anti dumping tax on pangasius imported from Vietnam at least in thenext five years, according to the Vietnam Competition Authority underthe Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The decision was madefollowing the commission’s second investigation review for anti-dumpingduties on pangasius imported from Vietnam with 100 percent of votes infavour.
The USITC stated that the revocation of the tariffs onthe Vietnamese goods would be likely to lead to “continuation orrecurrence of material injury” to the US’s frozen-fillet industry withina foreseeable time.-VNA
