Hanoi (VNA) - Students andlectures at the University of Science and Technology under Da Nang Universityhave created a mobile cabin to transport patients with COVID-19 in quarantineareas.
The cabin is equipped similarly to anegative pressure chamber with disinfectant spray equipment, oxygen tank andwarning lights. The device has wheels so people can move it easily by using an electricscooter or just pulling it.

The cabin is made within one monthat the request of the Lien Chieu district Medical Centre, aiming to serve thetransportation needs of patients suspected or infected with COVID-19 within thehospital. It was handed over to thecentre on July 1.
Le Van Sy, director of the centresaid that once it is put into use, the device will help facilitate thetransportation of patients suspected of having COVID-19 from quarantine areasto wards for clinical examination, as well as from the wards where they aredetected to the concentrated quarantine areas. It helps prevent the spread ofCOVID-19 and cross-contamination during travelling.
Earlier, lecturersand students of the University of Technology (Da Nang University) have alsoinvented many products to serve the community in the prevention and control ofCOVID-19./.
