UK education exhibition opens in Da Nang

Eleven UK colleges and universities took part in an education exhibition which opened in the central city of Da Nang on Oct. 22.
Eleven UK colleges and universitiestook part in an education exhibition which opened in the central cityof Da Nang on Oct. 22.

The exhibition, jointly held by the British Council and Da NangUniversity, provided information on courses of study and scholarshipsfor Da Nang students who are interested in studying in the UK.

The exhibition also helped students understand more about UK education,its education system and the benefit that UK education brings tooverseas students.

The British Council, on the occasion, held a seminar on pre-universitycourses and another one to introduce one-year master degree courses inthe UK .

Earlier, on Oct. 21, the British Council joined Da Nang city toorganise the final night of a contest on English language speakingability in the central region./.

ASEAN’s goods, culinary culture promoted in Europe

A solemn ceremony was held on October 20 in the southern city of Arles, Bouches-du-Rhône prefecture of France, to mark the 10th anniversary of the memorial dedicated to Indochinese workers who came to work in the Camargue region during World War II.

Bac Lieu, Korean locality sign labour cooperation agreement

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.

Tien Giang strives to reduce poverty rate to 0.87% this year

Chinese sick sailor on vessel AMIS STAR provided with first aid
