At the event (Source: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – Car-hailing service Uber launched asupport centre for partners called Greenlight Hub in the capital city onOctober 19.
Speaking at the event, Executive Director of Uber VietnamTom White said as the largest of its kind in Vietnam, the three-storey centresprawls over a site of 620 sq.m where Uber will develop support features toimprove experiences of drivers and passengers.
It will also improve service quality by issuing rules fordrivers and allowing early reservation for rides.
White said Uber also increases safety for passengers by providingbasic information about their upcoming rides.
Uber and Grab are the only two foreign firms registering forpilot e-hailing projects apart from local taxi companies, including VinasunTaxi, Thanh Cong Taxi and Sun Taxi.
Present in Vietnam since 2014, they both accept payment incash and bank cards.-VNA
