Bangkok (VNA) – At least six people, including two women whowere identified as Vietnamese citizens, were killed in a traffic accident onJune 13 in Thailand’s Sa Kaeo province, 200 kilometers to the northeast ofBangkok.
According to Thai police, the coach’s driver seemed to be asleep,causing the vehicle to plunge over the median strip and hit a pick-up in theopposite direction.
Four people were killed at the scene, two others were in criticalcondition then passed away at the hospital and 10 people were injured. Most ofthe passengers in the 14-seat coach hold Lao and Vietnamese passports, who wereen route to the Thailand-Laos border gate.-VNA
