Hanoi (VNA) - Two more COVID-19 patients in Vietnam weredeclared as having fully recovered on April 15, bringing the total to 171, accordingto the Treatment Subcommittee under the National Steering Committee for COVID-19Prevention and Control.
The new recoveries are a 34-year-old Vietnamese man (patient145) treated at the Can Tho Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases Hospital and a 25-year-oldBritish man (patient 235) treated at the Cu Chi COVID-19 Treatment Hospital inHo Chi Minh City.
The Vietnamese man tested negative for virus for the first timeon April 12, the second time on April 13, and the third time on April 14.
The British man, meanwhile, tested negative for the virus forthe first time on April 6, the second time on April 8, and the third time on April9.
Both are eligible to be officially recognised as having recoveredand will continue to be quarantined and monitored for 14 days following their dischargefrom the hospitals./.
