Transport Ministry urges speeding up foreign loan disbursement

The Transport Ministry has asked ministries and agencies to speed up disbursement of foreign loans for public investment projects.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Transport Ministry has askedministries and agencies to speed up disbursement of foreign loans for publicinvestment projects.

The move is in compliance with Deputy Prime Minister PhamBinh Minh’s directions under the Government Office’s Document No.7865/2020 onthe matter.

Units were required to check financial statements of majorprojects with the Finance Ministry, including the transport upgrading projectin the central region and the Mekong Delta infrastructure development project.

They were also urged to deal with difficulties regardingbidding and seriously follow the Transport Minister’s Decree No.06/CT-BGTVTdated June 10 on accelerating public investment disbursement for 2020./.
