This phase was estimated to take more than three months, he said.

However, the general contractor had yet to finish and submit a detailed plan onthe trial run and maintenance as well as a safety certificate for the projectto the management unit, he said.

This risked delaying the project’s trial run, he added.

“The project must be put into operation as soon as possible,” he said. “Themore we delay the operation, the more we waste our money,”

The airport’s terminal 3 should be constructed as planned, he added.
Under the detailed plan, the civil aviation authority had to clearly point outthe roadmap to implement the project and the sources of investment capital, hesaid.

For the project of building Long Thanh International Airport, The asked thecivil aviation authority to consolidate the project management unit. It couldhire more experts to better consult for the project.
