Train ticket discounts available on e-wallets this summer

Passengers who buy train tickets via VNPAY e-wallet and other mobile banking applications will get a discount of 100,000 VND (4.26 USD) for each transaction worth at least 1 million VND from now until July 23.

Hanoi (VNA) – Passengers who buy traintickets via VNPAY e-wallet and other mobile banking applications will get adiscount of 100,000 VND (4.26 USD) for each transaction worth at least 1 millionVND from now until July 23.

The Hanoi Railway Transport JSC (Haraco) said thepromotion programme forms part of its cooperation with VNPAY, noting that 300transactions are eligible for the promotion each day.

Earlier, the Saigon Railway Transport JSC said ithas partnered with internet company VNG in putting up for sale train tickets onZaloPay, an online payment platform.

ZaloPay has offered a discount of 50,000 VND onfirst train bookings via the e-wallet from May 19 to June 11, applicable totransactions worth from 500,000 VND./.
