Toulouse Vice Mayor Jean-Marc Bares has underlined the remarkable contributions of Vietnamese young people and students to the enhancement of friendly ties between the French city and Vietnam .
Toulouse Vice Mayor Jean-Marc Bares has underlined the remarkablecontributions of Vietnamese young people and students to the enhancementof friendly ties between the French city and Vietnam .

Bares made the comment while receiving delegates to the mid-term meetingof the Vietnamese Students’ Union in France (UEVF), which was held inthe French city from May 14 - 16.

The mayor stressedthat friendly relations between Toulouse and Vietnam are growingstrongly, adding that Toulouse and the Vietnamese capital city of Hanoihave cooperated closely in preserving, restoring and promoting the valueof Hanoi’s Old Quarters over the past 10 years.

UEVF President Hoang Nang Thang thanked the municipal authorities forfavourable conditions they have created for Vietnamese students andyoung people who are living and working in the city.

This was an important factor and a good opportunity to bolstercooperative relations between the two countries, especially indeveloping Vietnamese and French cultures, he added./.

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.
