Hanoi (VNA) – GeneralSecretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Nguyen Phu Trong onMarch 12 sent a message of sympathies to Ethiopian President Sahle Work Zewde overthe recent crash of an Ethiopian plane.

Flight ET 302 of Ethiopian Airlines crashed onMarch 10 near Bishoftu town, 62 km southeast of the Ethiopian capital city of AddisAbaba, killing all 149 passengers and eight crew members aboard. The unfortunateplane was a Boeing 737-800 Max. 

The plane left Bole airport in Addis Ababa at8:38 am (local time) before losing contact with the control tower just sixminutes later.-VNA
