Thethree new patients arrived in Noi Bai airport in Hanoi on a flight fromUzbekistan on September 2 and were quarantined immediately after arrival. They werenegative for SARS-CoV-2 in the first test taken on September 3 and 4, but theresult of their second tests on September 15 and 16 turned positive.
OnSeptember 17, four more patients were declared to have recovered from COVID-19,bringing the total number of recoveries to 940. The fatalities remain at 35.
Amongpatients under treatment, 14 have tested negative once, 7 negative twice and 19negative thrice. Meanwhile, three patients are in very critical conditions.
Atotal 30,653 people are being quarantined across the country, with 454 athospitals, 15,120 at designated facilities and 15,079 at home oraccommodations./.
