Three enterprises win int’l quality award

Three Vietnamese enterprises have won the International Asia Pacific Quality Award (IAPQA) by the International Asia Pacific Quality Organisation.
Three Vietnamese enterprises have won the International Asia PacificQuality Award (IAPQA) by the International Asia Pacific QualityOrganisation.

The Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality (STAMEQ) announced the winners on Dec. 21.

Theywere the Viglacera Ha Long Joint Stock Company from the northernprovince of Quang Ninh, the Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ)from Ho Chi Minh City and the Long Hau Joint Stock Company fromsouthern Long An province.

The STAMEQ also announced a list of 96 enterprises winning the National Quality Award, including 11 golds and 85 silvers.

A ceremony to hand over the IAPQA and the national awards is scheduled to be held on Dec. 26./.

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.

Tien Giang strives to reduce poverty rate to 0.87% this year

Chinese sick sailor on vessel AMIS STAR provided with first aid
